Margaret (born 1849) was a daughter of Christopher Macrae and Marjory Macdonald, Mealista Farm. When Margaret's father died she relocated with her mother and siblings to Manish, Isle of Harris.
Margaret was married to Donald John Macrae from Applecross. He was a teacher at Finsbay School.
