Catherine from Gairloch was the first wife of George Mitchell, Kinchusil, where they lived. According to her year of death and the year of birth of twins (Catherine recorded in Bill Lawson’s Croft History and Malcolm in Eachdraidh nan Croitean) Catherine  may have died at or around the time of their birth. There were two older children.
