17349: Malcolm Macleod
Malcolm (1835-1900) was a son of Murdo Macleod and Marion Mackenzie, 6 Balallan. He married Christina Macdonald, Bosta, and they had eight children.
They lived as squatters (along with Malcolm’s brother Donald and his family) at Valtos, Kinloch, until they were evicted in 1867. They lived at 6 Balallan before relocating to 37 North Shawbost in the late 1880s.
Malcolm’s brother, Donald, was married to his wife’s sister Mary.
