Donald Macaulay

Donald Macaulay (1912-1985), son of Colin M Macaulay and Christine Mackinnon, 14 Keose and twin of Donald Angus. During the Second World War he was taken prisoner at St Valery in June 1940 but escaped from the camp in Poland to Russia and was interned there until 1945. He lived at Macaulay Farm, Lochs and married Dolina Mackenzie, Inverness in 1937. They lived at 30 Lower Sandwick, Stornoway.
