22370: John Armstrong Bruce

John Armstrong (1890-1929) was a son of William Bruce and Agnes E Armstrong, of Cromore Schoolhouse and Knockiandue Schoolhouse, Keose.

John lived in Inch, Edzell. He was serving as a 2nd Lieutenant with the Machine Gun Corps in Grantham, during the First World War, when he married Annie S Mctavish of Achnafauld, Union Street, Hamilton, at Hamilton in 1918. John and Annie emigrated to the United States of America and lived at 621 Pioneer Drive, Glendale, California. John died at 121 Hill Street, Glasgow in 1929.
