Effie (1878-1947) was a daughter of Norman and Catherine Macleod, 9 Garyvard.
At Stornoway, in 1909, she married widower Angus Macleod, 8 Calbost. Effie and Angus settled at 8 Calbost and they had three children, only two of whom survived.
Effie was widowed and the family moved to Stornoway.
