41719: Lauchlin Macleod

Lauchlin (1831-1882) was a son of Norman Macleod and Mary Maclean. Lauchlin was a fisherman and captain of a fishing schooner. He was shipwrecked on the schooner George W Stanton out of Gloucester, Massachusetts, in the winter of 1882-1883.

Lauchlin was survived by his wife Annie Mackenzie and his sons John D Macleod (who incidentally was swept off the deck of a boat in 1923) and Norman L Macleod.
