46717: Chirsty Mackenzie

Chirsty, born c1811, was a daughter of Allan and Bell nee Kerr from Stornoway. She married Donald Smith, 1 Valtos and they had six of a family. In the lotting of Valtos in 1850 she (as a widow) became the second tenant.

Her family do not appear in Uig after 1851 and it is thought they were among the eight families who emigrated from Valtos to Canada in that year.
