47344: Kenneth Kennedy

Kenneth  (1894-1948) was a son of Donald Kennedy and Margaret Macleod, 16 Cromore.

On November 7, 1917 he enrolled in the Royal Naval Reserve under Service Number TS7473. His record indicates that he was 5 ft 5½ in tall with blue eyes, a fresh complexion and a scar on the back of his right calf. Kenneth was immediately Mobilised and served in the Royal Navy in the last two years of the First World War. Based at HMS Pembroke and aboard HMS Dido, HMS Halcyon and HMB Halcyon II. On October 9, 1918 he was invalided out of service and awarded a Pension of £7.3/- per week. He received £1.17/6d Prize Money and his name is mentioned in  Loyal Lewis: Roll of Honour 1914-1918. 

Kenneth was a bachelor.
