Ann Smith (born 1798)  Anna an Taillear, was a daughter of Iain Smith, 5 Achmore, and lived at or near 8 Habost with her sister Mary's  family from 1861-1891.

The Smith girls had brothers at Shieldinish and Laxay. Annie was living with her  brother in Laxay when she died at the ripe old age of about 100.
