47702: Margaret Macleod
Margaret (c1890-1955) was a daughter of John Macleod and Christina Maciver, 11 Valtos. She married Donald Macneill, 1 Carishader and they emigrated to Southampton, Ontario. They later returned to Uig and lived in Carishader, where her husband ran a shop. They did not remain in Lewis and returned again to Canada.
Margaret again returned to Lewis and died at 11 Valtos in 1955.
