52455: Duncan John Macleod
Duncan John, born 1898, was a son of Donald and Annie nee Macdonald, 5 Lundale. During WW1 he served in the Merchant Navy (Mercantile Marine) and after the war he joined the Glasgow police and attained the rank of inspector.
He was married twice; his first wife was Chirsty Ann nee Macleod, 37 Cliff, with whom he raised three children. He then married Bell Ann nee Mackenzie (1917 – 27-08-1990).
