53958: Donald Macdonald

Donald, born 1930, was a son of Malcolm and Marion nee Mackenzie, 17 Tobson. He settled in Denmark.

According to a news item in the District News for Bernera which appeared in the Stornoway Gazette of 14 July 1953 (p. 7) Donald left London by air on 6 July 1953 for Bermuda where he was to join the police force, to serve initially for five years. He had joined the police two years before and was stationed first in Kirkcaldy and then at St Andrews.

Donald’s wife was Danish and they had two children.
