Jane Mackenzie (1828-1907) was a daughter of Murdo Mackenzie and Margaret Macleod, 1 Old Orinsay.
The family were removed to 25 Crossbost in 1843.
In Lochs, in 1848, she married Murdo Macleod, 1 Grimshader. Jane and Murdo settled at 1 Grimshader and they had six children.
Jane was widowed in 1888.
Jane’s sister Margaret was married to Murdo’s brother Norman.
