Donald Martin (1766-1863) was a son of Donald Martin and his mother was a Macleod. The family lived at Orinsay.
He married Effie Macleod and settled at 7 Old Orinsay. Donald and Effie had three sons.
Donald was widowed in 1830 and in 1832 married Margaret Macleod, 11 Cromore.
The family were removed to Steimreway as Cottars in 1843 and when Steimreway was cleared in 1857 they moved to 2 Lemreway.
