Mary (1805-1901) was a daughter of Donald Gillies and Christina Macleod, 5 Old Orinsay.
In Lochs, in 1830, she married Neil Macinnes, 13 Old Orinsay. Mary and Neil settled at 8 Old Steimreway and they had seven children.
The family were removed to 12 Lemreway in 1857.
Mary acted as an untrained midwife in the village of Lemreway.
