56650: Margaret Crichton

Margaret was the daughter of William Crichton; she lived in Keith Street, Stornoway, but it is not certain she was born there.

She married Duncan Macdonald, Sandwick, in Sandwick. Duncan’s parental home was at 6 Hacklete, but he was teaching in Sandwick School at the time.

In 1910 the family moved to the Schoolhouse, North Tolsta.

They left Tolsta in 1924.

The couple had five children: four boys and a girl, but it is not certain where the family were living when they were born.
