Catherine Ann Macinnes (1903-1988) was a daughter of Peter Macinnes and Ann Nicolson, 2 Lemreway.
In Lochs, in 1932, she married Donald Nicolson, 16 Lemreway. Catherine Ann and Donald had five children.
They were one of the landless families who raided and resettled Steimreway after the First World War. As the raiders were not recognised as crofters and no facilities were proved for them, they began to move away from Steimreway in the difficult conditions of the 1930s.
When the maternal croft became available, the family returned to 2 Lemreway.
