5710: Johanna Macmillan
Johanna (1923-1968), also known as Seonag a’ Bhaird, was a daughter of Alexander Macmillan and Christina Macdonald, 18 Laxay. In 1936, the family moved to 4 Keose Glebe.
She served with the Women’s Royal Naval Service (WRNS) during the Second World War. She was residing at 62 Haugh Road, Glasgow when in 1947, she married John Smith of 15 Cromore. They lived at 276 St George’s Road, Glasgow, for a few years before emigrating to Houston, Texas. They had one son.
