57286: Iain M Macleod
Iain was the son of John Macleod and Ann Morrison, Glasgow and 62 Balallan. He was evacuated from Glasgow to Balallan during the Second World War and attended Balallan School and the Nicolson Institute before gaining an MA at Glasgow University. He joined the RAF as a Pilot Officer but was killed in an air crash in Germany at the age of 23 years.
