Mary Agnes Mackenzie (1889-1977) was a daughter of Alexander Mackenzie and Mary Ferguson, 14 Marvig.
In Milton, Glasgow, in 1921, she married John Macarthur, 8a Tolsta Chaolais. Mary Agnes and John settled at Balallan Schoolhouse and they had three children.
Mary Agnes was widowed in 1945 when John drowned in Stornoway Harbour.
