Cairistìona Alasdair Dhonnchaidh

Christina (1840-1936) was a daughter of Alexander Macdonald and Annabella Mackenzie, 11 Old Orinsay.  

Orinsay was cleared in 1843 and the family moved to 4 Steinish, Stornoway.

At Govan, Glasgow, in 1876, she was married William Mackenzie, Bayhead Street, Stornoway. Christina and William settled in Stornoway and they had a family.

Christina and her son, John set up a Bakery in Bayhead Street known as Johnny Og's and remained there for many years. It amalgamated with Malcolm Maclean's Bakery and is now known as Stag Bakery.
