John Macleod (1863-1894) was a son of Malcolm Macleod and Margaret Macmillan, 8 Lemreway.
In Lochs, in 1888, he married Christina Macleod, 13 Lemreway. John and Christina settled at 8 Lemreway and they had two children.
John was drowned with his two brothers, Angus and Murdo, in Lemreway Bay when their boat capsized. He was aged 30.
