John Nicolson (1858-1909) was a son of Donald Nicolson and Mary Matheson, 9 Lemreway.
The family later moved to 26 Lemreway then 15 Lemreway.
At Fraserbugh, in 1888, he married Catherine Macdonald, 10 Sheshader. John and Catherine were living at 15 Lemreway in 1891 and later were Cottars at 10 Sheshader. The couple had three children.
John was widowed in 1898 and in 1906, married Isabella Macdonald, 1 Upper Bayble.
