6063: Peter Macdonald
Peter, born 1874, was a son of Murdo Macdonald and Henrietta Gillies who relocated from Bosta to 7 Kirkibost. He was married to Catherine Margaret Smith from Keose and had three children.
Peter had a draper’s shop in Stornoway known locally as “Buth Peter Squeak” – according to tradition he acquired the nickname from his pronounciation of picturesque.
