Christina (born 1840) was a daughter of John Macneil and Catherine Matheson, 1 Carishader.
At Uig, in 1868, she married Hugh Mackay, 2 Carishader. Christina and Hugh settled at 2 Carishader and they had eight children only six of whom survived.
