70572: Duncan Boyd
Duncan Boyd, born about 1836, was the son of William Boyd and Catherine Morrison of 6 Dunskellar. The family is said to have come originally from Bute.
He came to Berneray as a merchant, listed in the 1861 census as lodging with the household of John Paterson in Baile. In 1870 he married Marion MacPherson, who was housekeeper for her uncle Reverend Hugh MacDonald.
