Mary (1840-1926) was a daughter of Peter Macritchie (son of Malcolm Macritchie and Ann Macritchie, Carnish) and Ann Macleod (daughter of Donald Macleod and Ann Maciver, Mealista or Brenish). She emigrated with her family to Lingwick, Quebec. Mary was married to Murdo Maciver, an emigrant from 3 Crowlista, with whom she had four children. They were:
John (1861-1927), who married Mary Cameron (1871-1942). Malcolm (1863-1942), who married Eliza Jane Smith (1865-1948). Jessie Bell (1865-1868). Flora Annie (born 1867), who married Christian Weichman in 1896.
