72989: Donald MacLeod
Donald MacLeod was born in 1872, the second son of that name born to Donald MacLeod and Catherine MacKillop, cottars on 1/2 Ruisgarry (Sandhill).
Donald worked as a farm labourer and also, at times, a fisherman. He married Jean MacKay, the local schoolmaster’s daughter, and like his father lived as a cottar on Sandhill croft. He and his wife had two daughters together, Catherine and Marion.
