74013: Jessie Mary Paterson
Jessie Mary Paterson was born in 1867, the daughter of Norman Paterson and Margaret MacLeod of Rubha Mor, and later cottars on 8 Ruisgarry (Baile). She became a domestic servant and was working for Reverend Murdo Morrison at the UFC manse at the time of the 1891 census.
Jessie Mary never married. Following her brother Allan’s death in 1902, their father took over his croft, 14 Borve, and Jessie Mary stayed there in order to care for Allan’s orphaned children.
