Donald MacLeod

Donald MacLeod was born in 1890, the eldest child of John MacLeod and Marion MacAskill, cottars on croft 1/2 Ruisgarry (Sandhill) and later at croft 10 Ruisgarry (Gunhill). In 1911 he was working as a teacher.

Donald was killed in France during the Great War, whilst serving as a Sergeant in the 7th Battalion, Seaforth Highlanders.
