John Morrison, eldest child of Donald Morrison and Marion Shaw, was born at Tarabhig in 1826, at a site still visible as Tobhta Mòr ni' Chaluim. Later he moved with his widowed mother to 14 Ruisgarry (Trealigarry). John was lost at sea.
