75402: Neil MacLeod
Neil was born in 1839, the eldest child of Roderick MacLeod and Christina MacLeod of old Borve, then 21/22 Ruisgarry (Ben Leva). He became a farmer, marrying Marion Ferguson from Brusda in 1871. Together they were to have eleven children. The croft at Ben Leva was passed to Neil following his father’s death in 1890. Neil died of supposed bronchitis in 1920, the croft passing to his son Iain.
