75944: Mary Morrison

Mary was born in 1916, the youngest child of Donald Morrison and Marion MacAskill of Quay. She was a pupil at Berneray School between 1922 and 1930, later marrying Neil Campbell. They made their home at Lamerick with their son, who became a joiner and later settled in Inverness.

In 1979, following husband Neil’s death, Mary lived at 1 Pol an Oir with her brother Angus, later moving to 3 Pol an Oir.
