Archie was the son of Malcolm Munro and Mary Campbell of 19 Ruisgarry (Brusda). Archie was a seaman, and sailed in seas as far apart as the Arctic and Aden. He married Ann Gordon from Appin, and they settled at 2 Lochportain. Archie was guardian of his nephew Archie MacIsaac.
