John MacLeod
John, known as Johnnie, was born in 1875, the son of Neil MacLeod and Marion Ferguson of 21/22 Ruisgarry (Ben Leva). In 1913 he married Catherine Munro of Brusda, with whom he was to have six children. He worked as a yachtsman and farm worker, living at Ben Leva until 1924, when the family moved to 10 Lochportain.
