Catherine (born 1929) was the daughter of Angus Nicolson and Christina Macdonald of Struan House, North Tolsta.
She married Donald John Macleod of 12 North Tolsta and settled with him in Glasgow.
After they retired the couple returned to Lewis and settled at Oliver’s Brae, Stornoway.
