91617: Margaret Maciver

Margaret (1843-1916) was the daughter of Roderick Maciver and Catherine Campbell of 25 Old South Tolsta.

In the 1851 croft relottings the family obtained 16 North Tolsta, but in 1853 they lost the croft and became cottars at 12 North Tolsta.

In 1857 the family obtained 59 North Tolsta as a newly lotted croft and settled there.

Margaret married William Macleod of 32 Vatisker and the couple settled at 59 North Tolsta. 59 North Tolsta passed to William in due course. The couple had six children: four girls and two boys.
