Margaret Macleod
Margaret (1858-1937) was the daughter of John Macleod and Mary Macdonald; the family were cottars at 20 North Tolsta.
Margaret married Angus Macleod, of 34 North Tolsta. The couple settled at 34 North Tolsta, which passed to Angus in due course. Their first child was born in 1882. In total they had eight children: five girls and three boys.
In due course 34 North Tolsta passed to their eldest son: Murdo.
Margaret was widowed in 1930.
