92023: Margaret Mackenzie

Margaret Mackenzie (1908-1977) was the daughter of Angus Mackenzie and Catherine Macdonald. The address at the time of her birth is unknown, but in 1922 the family obtained 1 New Tolsta as a newly lotted croft.

Margaret married twice. Her first marriage was to Murdo Murray of 13 New Tolsta; she settled there with him, but they had no children.

Margaret’s second marriage was to Murdo Macdonald of 23 North Tolsta and she settled there with him in 1968. Murdo had been widowed in 1963. Margaret gained five (adult) step children.
