92360: Murdo Macdonald
Murdo (1822-1897) was the son of John Macdonald and Catherine Macdonald of Cuilatotair.
In 1842 Murdo obtained 1 Old North Tolsta from his brother Donald.
Murdo married Annie Murray, of 13 Old South Tolsta, and they had their first three children at 1 Old North Tolsta. His sister Catherine and her family were cottars at 1 Old North Tolsta until 1845.
In 1853 the family obtained 51 North Tolsta, after the previous occupant, Murdo Macqueen, emigrated. Once settled at 51 North Tolsta Murdo and Annie had a further four children.
In due course 51 North Tolsta passed to his son, Murdo.
