Anne (1790-1882) was the daughter of John Martin and Margaret Macdonald. In 1820 Anne's father's name appears on the subtenants list of Old South Tolsta Tack.
Anne married John Gunn, of Old South Tolsta Tack, and the couple settled there and had their first child.
In 1830, during the croft lottings, the family obtained 10 Old North Tolsta and had a further six children. In total they had seven children: three girls and four boys.
In 1853, Old North Tolsta was decrofted to make way for Tolsta Farm, and the family settled at 43 North Tolsta which passed to them from Anne's parents. Her mother died that same year and her father two years later.
The couple's son, John, became a cottar at 43 North Tolsta.
Anne was widowed in 1874.
In due course 43 North Tolsta passed to their son-in-law Murdo Maciver.
