Donald (1930-1985) was the son of Murdo Macdonald and Christina Maciver; the family were cottars at 48 North Tolsta.
Donald married a woman, from Indonesia, and the couple settled at 48 North Tolsta. They had no children.
After Donald’s death his widow moved to Stornoway and the house was sold to a couple from Scalpay.
