95140: Isabella Murray

Isabella (1833-1919) was the daughter of Angus Murray and Catherine Maciver of 9 Old North Tolsta.

In 1852 her father was drowned.

In 1853, Old North Tolsta was decrofted to make Tolsta Farm, her widowed mother moved to 52 Swainbost, but it is not certain that Isabella was still living in the parental home at this time.  

Isabella married Donald Macleod, of 14 Port of Ness, and the couple settled at 14 Port of Ness.

After Isabella was widowed she went on to marry Donald Macdonald, of 19 Port of Ness, and the couple settled at 14 Port of Ness.
