The SS Cape Finisterre was a 4,380 GRT steam cargo ship completed in 1907 by Russell & Co. for Cape Finisterre Steamship Co. Ltd. and managed by Lyle Shipping Co. Ltd.
She was sunk on 2 November 1917 by a torpedo fired by German submarine UC-17 off Cornwall with the loss of 35 lives. She was enroute from New York and Falmouth to Brest with a cargo of steel billets.
