119946: SS Sithonia
The SS Sithonia was a British Cargo steamer built by J L Thompson, North Sands, England as the SS Radnorshire, the SS War Diamond and in 1930 she was renamed the SS Sithonia.
On July 13, 1942 en route from Barry and Belfast Lough for Montevideo she was torpedoed and sunk about 400 miles west of Tenerife. 7 were lost out of a crew of 53.
