104947: 16b Tolsta Chaolais

The first tenant of 16 Tolsta Chaolais was John Maclennan (1785-1845) from Tolsta Chaolais. In the 1860’s, Malcolm Mackay from Garynahine took part of the croft (16a Tolsta Chaolais) and the remainder went to widow Rachel Maclennan and her son Donald (16b Tolsta Chaolais).  The croft later passed to Malcolm Mackay, 16a Tolsta Chaolais.
