105757: Ardroil Farm

The villages in Ardroil were cleared in the late 1830s to make way for Ardroil Farm. The original farmhouse was situated at the site of  the Ardroil fank, at the Red River. The farmhouse was built by the estate in 1841. It is the present 1 Ardroil, which was bought by Alexander Finlayson when the farm was broken up in 1921.
