34 Aird Tong was a newly lotted croft in 1880. The first tenant was Donald Macleod (1835-1915) from 6 Aird Tong. He passed the croft to his daughter, Ann and in 1923 she passed 34 Aird Tong to her brother, Alexander.

Alexander Macleod  passed the croft to his son, Norman.
