The first known tenant of this croft was Malcolm Montgomery but it is not known where he came from. His son Malcolm (1795-1879) inherited the croft and Malcolm’s daughter Christina (1837-1921) who married John Macleod, 6 Balallan, settled on the croft. The croft was then tenanted by Christina’s son Murdo (1861-1932).
